Lu Jie Presents Paper at ISSCC 2019
Lu presented his paper on time-interleaving technique applied to noise-shaping SAR ADCs at the highly acclaimed International Solid State Circuits Conference in San Francisco, CA this February. His talk was well-prepared, and highly popular with his colleagues.
In Lu’s own words, “This work shows how time-interleaving technique can be applied to noise-shaping ADCs, and introduces the first time-interleaved noise-shaping SAR ADC prototypes that achieve higher bandwidth than the conventional ones."
"I would never had made it work, if I knew ahead how difficult this project actually is. A few people had tried a similar idea before; but ended up with the conclusion that it is not very feasible. Fortunately, I didn’t know those stories. I just applied every interesting (or weird, in some senior people’s views) idea that I had, and was finally able to make something new that actually works! So, I think innovation should never be restricted by our experiences, as chances may be hidden in the area we once regarded as impossible!”
Colleagues Peter Brown and Justin Correll, seen below, confirming Lu’s stunning revelations!
